Upwarfd games are played in January and February. Teams play each Saturday at the same time. Games continue weekly through the end of February. Our end-of-the-year Upward Awards Night is in early March. Our Upward program now includes Cheerleading!
Mission Friends
Mission Friends is on Christmas break and will resume January 4. Mission Friends is our missions education program for pre-school children. Mission Friends meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
God's Kids Club - Childrens' Worship
First Kids children's worship is changing to God's Kids Club starting October 1st. The Club is for children in 4-years old through 4th grade, and will meet during our main worship hour each Sunday morning, except for the last Sunday of each month. Parents need to register their children, and need to drop them off and pick them up each Sunday morning. Stacey Leigh and Lucy White are serving as ministry leaders for this exciting time of worship. God's Kids Club will meet in the Adult 2 Sunday School Assembly Area.
Children in Action (CIA)/Mission Friends
CIA is also on Christmas break and will resume January 4. CIA is our missions education program for grade school children. CIA meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School will be June 23-27, 2008, from 9 a.m. to noon each day. This year's theme is Game Day Central, a great multi-sports theme! Check our our VBS page here.
Sunday School
We have graded classes beginning with pre-school in our nursery, and progressing through 6th grade. Each grade meets each Sunday morning for Bible study and learning activities designed specifically for their age group.
JOY Special Needs Ministry
'The JOY Ministry's December 10th Parent's Day Out was a big success! We had 13 children join us from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. while their parents had a time to go out and shop.
JOY continues to provide care and instruction for special needs families during Sunday School and our main worship hour. JOY Ministry will also help support involvement of special needs members in other ministry programs when feasible. Contact the church office for more details.
Celebration Kids Children's Choir/
Preschool Praise Choir
Our children's choirs for pre-schoolers and grade school children are on Christmas break. Each will resume meeting on Tuesday afternoons once school resumes in January.
Preschool Praise Choir is for children who are 4 and 5 years old. Celebration Kids Choir is for children in 1st through 6th grades.
Awana club meetings are Sunday afternoons from 5 to 7 p.m. Awana meets at the Recreation Outreach Center (ROC).
Awanwa is for children 3 years of age through high school.
Kids' Summer Fun
Our summer program for children 4-years through those entering 6th grade features learning about God's love and His Word combined with fun games and learning activities. Our Summer Fun group meets in the Craft Room of the ROC.
