FBC Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions

2008 Goal: $7,500

2008:  The Acts 1:8 Year

Mission involvement opportunities both near and far as we resond to the call of our Lord Jesus.

Ongoing opportunities with multi-family/ apartment minsitry here in our own community of Terrell as teams minister weekly on Monday evenings.  (Our Jerusalem)

July 2008 - A return to Colorado for more multi-family ministry in the Lakewood area near Denver . (Our Samaria) Trip Dates: July 13-19.

August 2008 - Ministry & evangelism along the Amazon River of Brazil as we travel to the "ends of the earth" with our mission partner, Amazon Outreach.  Trip dates:  August 13-22.

Lakewood (Denver) Colorado

July 13-19; Multi-housing ministry - VBS, sports camps - and construction.

Housing at Colorado Chrisitan University in Lakewood; 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment units.

Trip Cost:  On the church bus - $240 per person; $500 family max.

Driving on your own - $190 per person; $400 family max.

$50 per person deposit ($100 per family) due by April 1. 

Full balance due by June 15.

Amazon Region of Brazil (out of Manus)

August 13-22; Medical ministry, VBS, men's/women's ministry

Housing on the riverboats of Amazon Outreach, providing meals, showers, and other "comforts of home" as we minister along the river.  This is a trip that will change your life.

Trip Cost:  $2,875 which includes transportation, air fare, and all

meals once on the river boat.  $200 deposit due upon sign-up,

or by March 15.. 

Other payments due include:

$1,000 due by May 12*

$800 due by June 4*

$875 due by June 20*

Other trip costs include items such as passports, visa,

immunizations, meals while traveling, gifts for family & friends,

and similar items.

* All funds paid to Amazon Outreach are a donation for the ministry’s use for short term mission trips and are not refundable once paid.
