John Lowrie accepted a call to our church as Senior Pastor effective June, 2006. God has been doing awesome things in our church under John's leadership. John is married to Kristi, and they have three children: John David, Ashlyn, and Abigail. John previously serving as Pastor at First Baptist church of Abernathy, Texas. John is a graduate of Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Keith joined our ministry staff in 2000, after having been an FBC member for nine years. He works with our various education ministries and leads in our outreach efforts as well. Keith is a current seminary student working on his Masters of Arts in Christian Education from Southwesthern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northwestern State University in Louisiana. He and his wife, Jo, have two adult children; Aaron and Kate.

Brent came to FBC in 2002, joining us after serving in several churches in East Texas. Brent leads our music ministry as well as the various ministry and activity areas of our Senior Adult Ministry (SAM). Brent has a Masters Degree in Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. His undergraduate degree is from East Texas Baptist University. He and his wife, Pam, have three children; Hillary, Mason, and Mattie Lynn.

A search is underway for our new Minister to Students and Recreation. In the meantime, Mike Cornett is serving in this capacity as interim, so all youth ministry activities are continuing as usual!

Lucy has been on our office staff since 1998. She maintains the financial and budget records for the church. Lucy is married to Jerry. Jerry serves with the FBC radio broadcast and CD ministry.

Elaine is our church and publications secretary. She maintains our membership records and prepares the various publications, art work, and mail outs for our church. Elaine and her husband, Bob, have three children; Jessie, Larney, and Kellie.
