Sell an Unneeded Cemetery Lot

One church member has more cemetery plots than she needs. She is planning to sell the extra lots to double her money and reduce the debt on the ROC.

Host a Sunday Luncheon

Adult 5 is hosting a church-wide luncheon after morning worship on Sunday, March 30. The menu includes hamburger steak and baked potatoes. Donations for lunch will be accpeted. Instead of spending your money at a restaruant that Sunday, come dine at the ROC, make a donation, and double your money toward reducing the debt on the ROC!

Where'd That Come From?

One church family received an escrow refund check from their mortgage company . . . the Saturday before Brother John's announcement of the matching gift. They donated the check to the ROC, doubling the power of the check to over $1,000.

Get in on This?

Our government recently announced their plan for distribtion of tax rebate checks to U.S. taxpayers. What are your plans for your check? Might the Lord lead you to double your money?

Box Meal Auction - Going Once...?

The Adult 2 Sunday School Department has a box lunch auction planned for April 4 for members of their Sunday School area. Proceeds will be doubled by giving them to the debt on the ROC.

Have a Garage-Full of Junk?

How much might God be offering through your garage, attic, or storage building? Watch for upcoming "church wide" garage sales at the homes of selected church members throughout our community.

June Emphasis Month

Our debt-elimination effort will feature three key months of high emphasis on our "match" campaign. These will include June and December 2008, as well as June 2009.

June 2008 will feature a special Celebration Sunday on June 29th.

We'll have a church-wide carnival that evening that will also be a family-outreach night for our VBS families, and will feature our VBS kids presenting their musical performance.

Mark the date on your calendar, because there will be lots of fun planned for this day as we celebrate God's goodness thus far.

Scap that Iron

One church member has shared how he is cleaning up some "stuff" around his place and collecting the scrap metal that's taking up space. He's getting with several others in our church, and planning to take the items to a scrap metal dealer to sell. He'll be using his junk to "double his money" toward the ROC.

Fish to Fry

An idea submitted on-line was to have a fish fry and either charging for an all-you-can-eat meal, or simply ask for donations to the meal as a love offering. This person who submitted this idea has now gotten connected with another member who was also thinking "fish fry," so you should begin watching for a date for this "double your meal money" event!

Car Bath & BBQ

Another idea from our on-line submissions was for a joint car-wash and bar-b-que sandwich sale. The mom who submitted this idea shared that they have done this type youth fundraiser before for softball teams with great results. Anyone have a car that needs a bath and a tase for some BBQ?
